== Makespace ==

Makespace is a community workshop for people to build (almost) anything.

It will contain a FabLab, so it'll be equipped with soldering stations, 2d laser cutter, 3d printer, etc

And as a community resource, it'll bring together a network of enthusiasts and innovators, the prototyping industry, consultants, businesses and educational communities in a mutually beneficial way

It is aiming to reach people from all across the East of England, using Cambridge as the initial hub.

== Communication ==

Here are the different ways to get involved!

* We have a "Meetup" group at http://www.meetup.com/makespace/
** This is for anyone interested in makespace to join up, show their support, and find out about events

* There's a mailing list you can subscribe to at http://makespace.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/makespace
** This is for general maker chat, including setting up the makespace itself
** You can also view the [http://makespace.org/pipermail/makespace/ list archive]

* For IRC use #makespace on Freenode
** You can also access this via your browser at http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=makespace

== Donations ==

If you're feeling generous, head over to [[DonationsWelcome]], where we're tracking the things we need and the things people have that we might need.
