Current projects
GPS/GSM tracker for Land-Rover using Telit GM862 (electronics)
Tools used: soldering iron, laptop, Emacs, glue.
Completed projects
Small wooden shelves (woodwork)
I made some sets of small shelves for my kitchen, so I can tidy up my flock of storage jars.
Tools used: chop saw, rulers, set square, PVA.
Overhaul Land Rover winch (mechanical)
I've brought a mechanical winch into Makespace, to take it apart and overhaul it. With Roger's and MarkT's help, we've got the faceplate off, and cleaned it up inside, and re-assembled it.
Tools used: socket set, Allen keys, knife and screwdriver to prise plate off, old milk bottle to catch oil, rags to wipe up oil.

Make Schwebebahn for spider plants, along the cable racking (mechanical) (electronics)

- Versor Versatile Cursors for Emacs (flexibly map arrow keys etc to various kinds of movement)
- Muesli: Generic scripting language interface with plugins for languages
- MuLVOC: Multi-Lingual Vocabulary storage
- Stretch Land-Rover to 6-wheeler (not inside Makespace!) and add electric drive to rear axle, using home-made VFD PWM controller
