The knitting machine in Makespace is a Passap E6000 with a motor and a colour changer. Parts of it are under CNC, allowing for the creation of stitch patterns from images on a PC (among other things). It has not yet been commissioned, but the owners expect this to happen in the near future; most of the important issues have been resolved. The machine is marked red (induction only) not because it is a danger to people, but because (untrained) people are a danger to it. Induction sessions will start once the machine is commissioned.Owners

To get started, good resources are the manual (kept next to the machine) and the youtube series starting with this video.
