The knitting machine in Makespace is a Passap E6000 with a motor and a colour changer. Parts of it are under CNC, allowing for the creation of stitch patterns from images on a PC (among other things). It has not yet been commissioned, but the owners expect this to happen in the near future; most of the important issues have been resolved. The machine is marked red (induction only) not because it is a danger to people, but because (untrained) people are a danger to it. Induction sessions will start once the machine is commissioned.

Owners

The current owners are Tom Myers and Rachel Rayns
