Robo-makers is a Cambridge-based community of folks interested in all kinds of aspects of robots and robotics, and we have a meetup series for folks interested in building or working with or actually building robots and robotic technology. Robo-makers events include all aspects of robot technologies (hardware, software, applications, data), practical experiences of building and working with robots, help in getting started with new projects, and other similar things. Everyone is welcome, both makespace members and nonmembers.
Get in touch with [Laura firstname.lastname@example.org] or Steve or Mat if you can offer a talk/demo/workshop/training/whatever! We aim to run these meetups roughly monthly. They usually happen on a weekday evening around 7pm, often Monday, and are quite informal with plenty of time for questions, demos and chit chat.
Potential future talks / demos / etc (add your name/details if you are able to help organise any of these!)
- modding ride-on cars for disabled children
- machine vision
