My name's Toby (@tobym on the mailing list). I'm a PhD student at the Computer Laboratory focussing on data centre networking and storage systems.

I've always been keen on tinkering with things and DIY and miss these as a student in college accommodation, so Makespace fills a nice gap :)

Currently I'm treasurer of Makersoc (the student makespace society) and am keen to get involved in lots more stuff in Makespace.
