Personally, I prefer "Values" to "Mission Statement". http://talentdevelop.com/articles/WWWG.html pretty much says why. On he other hand, a "What we do" statement might be useful in communicating our reason for being. Here's my starter for 10:

At the 16th october planning meeting the idea of a succinct mission statement was brought up, which might help us be clear about what Makespace is trying to do.

Do we need such a statement? What would it look like?

Kim SJ's Comment: Personally, I prefer "Values" to "Mission Statement". http://talentdevelop.com/articles/WWWG.html pretty much says why. On he other hand, a "What we do" statement might be useful in communicating our reason for being. Here's my starter for 10:
