Purchasing Additional Personal Storage boxes

As membership grows, so will the need for additional personal storage. Currently Makespace.org is using 35L transparent plastic tubs with clip-on tops, like these: 35L Tubs. Tubs like these can be purchased from various local vendors, like ASDA, Staples etc.

If you find that more tubs are required for new members etc, please follow this basic guide:

Determine if there are any "unallocated" tubs in the space:

• Look for empty tubs that have no name label or other sign of ownership.
• Look for these in the storage room, and the external corridors.

If you are in the space, check with management (if present) as they may be able to check the office.

If you cannot locate enough tubs, use this simple purchasing guide:

• Poll the membership to determine if there are tubs "on order" already.
• Include how many tubs you want to order, and how many you know are going to be allocated from that order.

I suggest using: Google Group Storage thread (If you are in the space, also poll the members present).

If your order cannot be 'merged' with other outstanding purchases, follow the purchase process

Let the membership know that your order has been placed (using link above), and also when the tubs are available for use, and where you have put them.
